Naya is Hindi for “New”. Naya brings a new concept of dining to Grand Rapids in presenting a collection of flavors from around the world. Naya’s concept was developed by Rimple Nayyar and Sandeep Khurana, two of the partners in Bar Divani, located in downtown Grand Rapids. Naya is an approximately 100 seat casual dining restaurant with an additional 80 seat bar area and a 30 seat lounge on the mezzanine overlooking the bar.
Naya features an outstanding array of global cuisine. The menu has been inspired by Rimple and Sandeep’s travels around the world and brought to Grand Rapids by Executive Chef Jay Knickerbocker and Chef de Cuisine James Carr’s vast experience in cooking dishes from various cultures. The menu includes an extensive selection of small plates and entrées as well as unique wood-fired pizzas.
