Introduction to hot-glass casting from the furnace and kiln casting. Students will make a clay model and learn the basics of mold baking, pre-heating the molds to do hot pours of glass to make cast glass sculptures. Thickness of glass is limited to 3-inch maximum and no more than 10 pounds of glass per sculpture. Class includes all glass, supplies and tools.
