Smartshop

Smartshop is a metal arts organization founded in 2002. Our mission is to support, teach, practice and promote the metal arts to foster personal, interpersonal and community growth.

The grounds are comprised of a refurbished industrial building with 6,000 square feet of character and a beautiful garden courtyard which appeals to our love for nature. The building has a metalworking school for classes, demonstrations, and independent studio space all year round. There is also a gallery that exhibits and supports the facilities and local artists.

The Smartshop Metal Arts Center has a plethora of modern metalworking equipment, including three coal forges, three gas forges, and a power hammer. Classes and workshops are offered for the novice to advanced metal artist, with focus placed on inspiration and safety.

The Smartshop Art Gallery represents artists from around the region who specialize in original, finely crafted works of art in all mediums. The gallery is an inspiring, thought provoking experience.

The Smartshop Metal Arts Center is a perfect place for the curious to begin, the advanced to challenge themselves, and all the creatives to call home.
